Under the motto “fast, safe and not ignorable”, presently, at all gateways to the province, strict control has been seriously implementing for people and vehicles from and to Quang Ninh.
At the quarantine checkpoint on National Road 279 adjacent to Tan Dan commune (Ha Long city) and Bac Giang province, there are about 200 vehicle turns everyday. Despite the small number of traffic vehicles, the control of people and vehicles has been always tightened. The interdisciplinary working group consisting of 20 people who are provicial and city police forces, heath and military staff, local self-defense militia forces has been hard working in three shifts a day at the checkpoint to undertake body temperature check, declaration about name, ID, telephone number and address, destination etc.
For people and vehicles outside the province, besides necessary information declaration, if travel schedule and the purpose of the journey are eligible under the new regulations, they can enter Quang Ninh
At the quarantine checkpoint on National Road 10 passing Uong Bi city to Hai Phong, due to the large traffic flow, functional forces have divided traffic into three lanes of motorcycles, cars travelling on duty and freight vehicles.
Along with strictly controlling people and vehicles outside to Quang Ninh, at all quarantine checkpoints, the working groups are responsible to remind drivers inside the province not to go to disease-hit localities because after returning, they will be isolated in 14 days
Thanks to strict control of people and vehicles at all gateways in Quang Ninh, hopefully, Quang Ninh will omit any Covid 19 infected cases in the community, contributing to joining hands with the whole country to combat Covid 19.
