Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee inspects storm preparedness in Cam Pha ward
Amid the complex developments of Typhoon No. 3 (Wipha), on the afternoon of July 21, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council, Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, conducted an on-site inspection of storm preparedness in Cam Pha ward.

She reviewed the implementation of response measures by local authorities and personally inspected the mobilization and mooring of vessels taking shelter in the Vung Duc area.
Hundreds of vessels including many large-capacity fishing and transport boats, particularly those operated by coal industry units are anchored in the area for storm shelter.
The Chairwoman emphasized the need for local forces to remain vigilant, carefully monitor all aquaculture rafts, and ensure no one remains offshore. She instructed relevant teams to inspect and assist with securing all vessels to prevent collisions during strong winds, while also safeguarding public order and property.
She also directed attention to areas at risk of flooding or landslides due to heavy rains and called for prompt relocation plans where necessary.
Drainage channels must be cleared to ensure water flow, and emergency supplies such as essential goods, materials, and medicines must be adequately prepared to support timely response efforts.
