This year, March 20 is the International Day of Happiness with the theme “ Love and sharing”. Different from other years, amid Covid 19 outbreak, despite no vibrant campaign and response, the actions of love and sharing have been made, creating profound impacts.
The meaningful and heartwarming actions in the fight against Covid 19 in recent days have created a great motivation for Quang Ninh people to overcome difficulties towards a healthy, safe, peaceful and happy life.
Good examples are taken for a beautiful action such as President of Tuan Chau Group donating three million face masks, Tan Dai Duong International JSC presenting 10,000 face masks, charity organizations in Tien Yen district, Dam Ha district, Cam Pha city granting tens of thousands of face masks and hundreds of hand sanitizer bottles to local people etc.
Facing Covid 19 outbreak, Van Don district’s’ mollusk cultivation in harvest season is unsaleable, causing heavy losses for famers. Many enterprises and organizations in Quang Ninh have promptly organized sales points to support the consumption of hundreds of tons of agricultural products, creating a series of good actions. Thang Long Thermal Power JSC, Quang Ninh Provincial Farmers’ Association, VINACOMIN’s enterprises and many families in the cities of Ha Long, Cam Pha, Uong Bi etc consumed hundreds of tons of mollusk.
Amid Covid 19 epidemic, the love is increasing shining, creating the values of life. Notably, Bao Minh Radiant Hotel in Ha Long city has showed its responsibility to the community by offering free four-star standard rooms, meals worth nearly 200,000 VND/person/day for 157 isolated guests from disease-hit areas from early March until now.
The International Day of Happiness themed “Love and sharing” has been a great power for people to unite and combat Covid 19 epidemic.
