Special art programme celebrate 76th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day
A special art programme entitled “Historical autumns will take place at 20:10 on August 28 and be broadcast live on Vietnam Television to celebrate the 76th anniversary of August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2).
The event is part of cultural and art activities to honour great victories during the past struggle for national liberation and reunification, as well as spotlight achievements in the cause of national construction, defence and development at present.
It also aims to affirm the great merits and contributions of the entire Party, people and army, and valuable support of international friends for Vietnam over the past 76 years, he added.
Tran Huong Duong, Deputy Director of the Performing Arts Department, said the event will be a highlight in a series of activities to celebrate the National Day this year.
Revolutionary songs will be performed by People's Artists Quoc Hung, My Linh, Tung Duong, Pham Thu Ha, Tran Thu Ha, Xuan Hao, Viet Danh, Thanh Thanh, Hue Thuong, Phuong Mai, Dang Long, and Trung Kien. …, with groups Oplus, Time, Phuong Nam.
The event will be held by the Performing Arts Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Contemporary Art Theatre and relevant units.
The repertoire will be presented in a new style, leaving many impressions and aesthetic vibes of the audience, reviving events, stories, characters, focusing on highlighting the unique will of Vietnamese people - the will to create the strength of the Vietnamese people throughout the history of national construction, defense and development.
