Quang Ninh showcases achievements at national exhibition
From August 28 to September 5, Quang Ninh province will join the national achievements exhibition at the National Convention and Exhibition Center in Dong Anh, Hanoi. The event, themed “80 years of independence - freedom - happiness”, marks the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day.
Quang Ninh’s exhibition booths are designed in a modern, unified style, highlighting the province’s journey and contributions alongside the nation over the past eight decades.
The province presents three main exhibition spaces. Its central booth, titled “Quang Ninh - 80 glorious years with the nation”, covers 270 square meters in Hall7-007 of the “Prosperous provinces, strong nation” pavilion. Visitors can explore Quang Ninh’s outstanding achievements in economic growth, social development, national defense, security, and foreign affairs through hundreds of photographs, large display panels, video clips, and artifacts.
Flanking the main stage are striking visuals of two UNESCO World Heritage sites, Ha Long bay and the Yen Tu monuments and landscape complex, together with models of iconic landmarks such as Quang Ninh museum, the planning and exhibition palace, and Van Don international airport. These highlights affirm the province’s remarkable progress, particularly during the era of renewal and integration.

The indoor space also introduces Quang Ninh’s rich cultural identity and resilient people, with interactive areas applying modern technology to offer immersive experiences for visitors.
In the outdoor section, spanning more than 1,000 square meters, Quang Ninh presents a culinary zone (Carriage No. 11, “Freedom” booth) alongside product showcases featuring the province’s specialties.
The exhibition spaces will open daily from 9 am to 10 pm, August 28 - September 5, with free admission for the public.
On August 26, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hanh inspected preparations at the Hanoi venue. She requested the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Industry and Trade, as well as contractors, to accelerate progress and refine exhibits.

She emphasized scientific layout, the inclusion of more striking images, and concise, impactful messaging that reflects Quang Ninh’s breakthroughs in the economy, transport infrastructure, new rural development, and education.
Alongside the exhibition, a series of forums, seminars, art performances, and talk shows will be held on themes such as science and technology, digital transformation, and cultural exchange with renowned artists.
