Cleaning up the environment; organizing parade and propaganda activities or launching campaign of stop using single plastic products are practical actions that agencies, units, organizations, businesses and people in Quang Ninh have undertaken for a green and clean living environment.
Since the beginning of the year, many environmental protection movements and campaigns have been launched in the province, such as: World Oceans Day, World Environment Day, Vietnam Sea and Islands Week, Action Month for the Environment in 2019, the "Anti plastic waste" and the "Let's clean the sea" campaigns... which have drawn the active involvement of all departments and sectors, localities and the people, thereby raising their awareness of protecting environment, biodiversity and contributing to achieving Quang Ninh’s target of green growth and sustainable development.
In addition, many propaganda parades have been organized to encourage the community to join hands to protect the environment and fight against plastic waste while a lot of conferences, seminars, and training courses on the environmental protection, and anti plastic waste have regularly been held. As a result, many models of environmental protection, sea - islands protection as well as plastic waste fighting was piloted by many agencies and units.
It can be said that those positive environmental protection activities have shown a sharp change in not only thoughts but also in actions of all organizations and individuals in the province, thereby contributing to creating a green living style for an unpolluted environment in Quang Ninh.
