Quang Ninh welcomed the delegation of 200 tourists from India
On August 1, the Department of Tourism greeted a group of 200 Indian guests who did a tour of Ha Long city. This is part of the province’s tourism promotion programs aiming at effectively exploiting the tradditional markets and expanding new ones.
These visitors took a direct flight from India to Vietnam this morning and moved to Quang Ninh afterwards. This is also the first large group of tourists from this market to Quang Ninh since the reopening of international tourism on June 15, paving the way for the next delegations in the near future.
Direct flights between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and New Delhi have been officially launched by Vietnam Airlines since June 15.
It can be seen that the expansion and development of new international markets is a positive result of the constant efforts taken by Vietnamese Embassy in India and the Quang Ninh tourism industry over the past time.
Along with India, the ASEAN region is also the goal that Quang Ninh tourism have thrived to achieve in the near future in conjunction with traditional international tourist markets such as Japan and South Korea.
According to statistics, Quang Ninh welcomed 65,000 international visitors in the first 7 months of this year. Together with expanding potential markets, the local sector has taken great efforts to improve service quality, ensuring a safe and favorable destination for tourists.
