On the evening of August 17, the special art program “the sounds of Yen Tu- An eternal heritage” was held at the foot of the sacred Yen Tu Mountain to guide the audience on a timeless journey, retracing the footsteps of King Tran Nhan Tam (the enlightened ruler and founder of the Truc Lam Zen tradition), reliving the nation’s proud history, and resonating with the aspirations of a rising Vietnam today.

The art program “The sounds of Yen Tu - An eternal heritage” unfolded in three chapters, each drawing inspiration from the sacred Yen Tu mountain, a place where the essence of heaven and earth meets the soul of the nation. It opened with the prologue “The spirit of Dong A - Echoes of the sacred mountain.”
The captivating performances took the audience on a journey back through history, retracing the footsteps of King Tran Nhan Tong, the Buddha-Emperor.

At the same time, it was also a journey back to the very essence of the Vietnamese spirit: standing resilient through life’s upheavals, uniting self-cultivation with the defense of the nation, and finding serenity amid the hardships of the world.
The song “Tran Nhan Tong - Spreading the Dharma in Dai Viet” recreated the journey of establishing and promoting the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen tradition.
The famous song “On the peak of floating clouds” by the late composer Pho Duc Phuong brought the audience to the sacred Yen Tu landscape, to the ancient Dong (Bronze) pagoda peak, veiled for a thousand years in white clouds.
The song-and-dance performance “The sacred thread of the northeast” was a masterful collaboration between Then folk artists from Bình Lieu, singers of the Quan ho Bac Ninh Theater, and the Hai Phong Cheo troupe. Together, they brought to life the vibrant cultural colors of Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, and Hai Phong, three homelands of Vietnam’s newly recognized world cultural heritages.

Carrying forward and spreading the heroic spirit of the past, the “Discipline and Solidarity” ethos of the miners was brought to life on stage through the song “The Party is the spring of the workers.”
The image of President Ho Chi Minh, the beloved leader of the nation, was honored through the song “The Ho Chi Minh anthem.”
Singer Dong Hung, with the song “Vast new roads,” delivered stirring melodies that awakened patriotism and a deep sense of national pride.
From the sacred realm of Yen Tu, the art program carried the audience into a wave of heroic emotions, echoing the nation’s steps into a new era and expressing the shared aspiration to build a prosperous, powerful, and everlasting Vietnam.

The appearance of singer Soobin Hoàng Sơn with his two performances, “Trong com” and “Glory awaits us”, ignited the stage and set the atmosphere ablaze with energy.
The special art program “The sounds of Yen Tu - An eternal heritage” truly captivated and delighted tens of thousands of locals and visitors from all over the country.
As the melodies of “The spirit of Vietnam” and “A journey around Vietnam” filled the air, fireworks lit up the night sky above Yen Tu in a dazzling display.
The brilliant fireworks, combined with a majestic light show and stunning visuals of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac heritage sites, brought the program to a close in an atmosphere of joy, pride, and hope for the future.
