According to Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, the province welcomed 10.4 million tourist arrivals in the first 8 months of 2019, including 3.6 foreign arrivals, a year on year increase of 14%, earning a revenue of 20.7 trillion VND, up 29% over the same period last year.
Favourable transportation infrastructure, modern and synchronous tourism infrastructure, diversified tourism products, ensured tourism environment are key factors to lure more tourists to Quang Ninh. From now to the end of the year, the province continues promoting the images of tourist destinations, enhancing the quality of services, and introducing new and high-quality tourism products, as well as building Quang Ninh as a safe, friendly, and appealing tourism destination. Quang Ninh plans to reach the target of receiving 14 million tourist arrivals this year, including 6 million foreign arrivals, earning a revenue of 27 trillion VND.
