From Covid 19 outbreak in late Jan 2020 until now, Quang Ninh provine received and isolated more than 2,300 people, isolated and treated 422 people at medical units.
Notably, Quang Ninh Province has an international border gate with China and Van Don International Airport where is assigned to receive flights bringing Vietnamese citizens back from disease-hit areas such as China, South Korea, therefore, there are thousands of isolated people, including a huge number of people outside the province. Accordingly, along with adequate and convenient accomodation arrangement which ensure isolation conditions in line with the Health ministry’s regulations, Quang Ninh province has provided free expenses including testing, three meals a day, free vehicles to take isolated people back to their residence. This preferential policy is offered to both Vietnamese and foreigners at isolation areas in Quang Ninh. Free treatment is provided to Covid 19 patients who are Vietnamese.
