For the purpose of improving the management capacity, enhancing the quality and efficiency of socio-economic activities, as well as building a healthy environment and enabling daily life for local people, on August 28th, Quang Ninh officially operated Smart City Governance Center based in the headquarter of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, in Hong Ha Ward, Ha Long City.
The event attracted the attendance and on-site experience of Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Hong Hai, Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Doc, members of Standing Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee, along with leaders of departments, branches, localities as well as representative leaders from provinces of Nam Dinh, Bac Ninh, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Yen Bai…
The center is the most comprehensively and synchronously integrated center of its kind in Vietnam. It can be compared to “Quang Ninh’s brain” as it offers an overview of all information concerning offices, departments, localities in different fields…via camera, sensors, and artificial intelligence (AI) application.
The operation of the center is considered as a great change, opening a new opportunity for outstanding development in the future.
