According to the announcement at a workshop on the average Patient Satisfaction Index (PSI) 2018 held by the Health Ministry in coordination with Vietnam-initiative (VNI) on May 30th in Ha Noi, Quang Ninh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital scored 4.23 out of 5 points, ranking the 6th and rated very good at PSI.
Entering its second year, PSI 2018 was based on a survey of more than 7,500 in-patients and their caregivers at 60 hospitals in 23 provinces and cities.
PSI survey is conducted via phone calls, focusing on inpatients who have been released from hospital and evaluating their experience and satisfaction about different criteria during their health check-ups and treatment. PSI 2018 consists of the access health examination and treatment services, the result of health check-ups and treatment, the cost of health check-ups and treatment, physicians’ behavior, health workers’ professional skills, medical infrastructure for patients, the transparent information of heath examination and treatment….
