These days, roads in Ha Long City are rather empty because local people well implement the order of limiting going out and gatherings. At residential areas, notices on the order are posted.
Mr. Pham Van Kien, a resident at Group 3, Gieng Day Ward, Ha Long City said he often goes out for morning and evening exercises but since Covid-19 outbreak, he did it at home. Since the issuance of nationwide social distancing, he also reminds his family members not to go out if it is not necessary and regularly clean his house.
To maintain local people daily life, trade centers and traditional markets still open. Organizations carry out practical activities to support local people. For example, Quang La Commune’s youth union voluntarily transport necessary commodity with free of charge while youth unions at other localities enhance propaganda activities on Covid-19 prevention and control via speakers…
Though being in Tomb Sweeping Festival, many families stay at home and conduct rituals instead of going to gravesites to show their respect to the dead as usual.
In Binh Lieu District, Binh Lieu Town has promulgated working plan during the period of nationwide social distancing. Accordingly, public servants work alternatively as long as 50% of them at work. As for quarantine check-points, health workers are assigned to check people’s body temperature and remind them of wearing face masks. Binh Lieu District’s chairperson, Hoang Thi Nghi, said that basically local people were well aware of the disease prevention and control.
Amid Covid-19 spirals, social distancing is required for everyone. It is believed that thanks to good implementation of social distancing, Quang Ninh will well prevent Covid-19 from speading, thus contributing to protecting local people’s safety and lives.
