Quang Ninh conducts large-scale testing for people at risk of SARS-CoV-2

All districts and cities in Quang Ninh province have been implementing the widespread Covid-19 testing for people at risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection since August 7 as a drastic move to hinder the spread of the fatal pandemic.

The testing program scheduled to last until August 12 is part of the province’s urgent solutions to prevent and combat against the Covid-19 pandemic in the new situation that has witnessed the rapid transmission in various localities across the country.

People targeted by the testing include market traders, sellers, employees, and workers working at traditional markets, road markets, supermarkets, trade centers, and relevant shippers and transporters.

At coastal districts and cities, the list also comprises boatmen, fishermen, and related service workers at ports, wharves, fishing wharfs, fishing vessels, etc.

All localities across the province have currently conducted the large-scale testing program in accordance with the provincial authorities’ guidelines.

During the process of taking samples, people are required to strictly follow Covid-19 prevention rules.
