In his life, President Ho Chi Minh paid special and deep concern to Quang Ninh, the North-eastern border province of the country. He visited Quang Ninh nine times and hoped it would become a prosperous and beautiful province.
Following President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings, Quang Ninh has now become one of the provinces nationwide which have the largest state budget collection. In 2018, Quang Ninh’s economic growth reached 11.1%, the highest rate in the last 6 consecutive years. With state budget collection of 40.5 billion VND, Quang Ninh was one of top 5 provinces nationwide with largest state budget contribution.
Quang Ninh is determined to invest in technical infrastructure, especially transportation system. A number of trillion-VND projects on both international and national scales have been invested in, changing the look of the mining area. The major projects include: Bach Dang Bridge, Ha Long-Hai Phong Highway, Ha Long-Van Don Highway, Bac Luan Bridge No.2, Ha Long International Cruise Port, Van Don International Airport, Quang Ninh’s Cultural Palace for Children and Youth, Sports Center for North Eastern Region, Sun World Ha Long Park, FLC Golf and Resort...
To carry out such projects, Quang Ninh puts its all tireless efforts in attracting investors. As a result, a number of strategic investors have been going along with the province for a long time, such as VinGroup, SunGroup, FLC Group, My Way, BimGroup, Him Lam Corporation, and Viet-Uc Seafood Corporation as well international partners, namely Toray Industries (Japan), Texhong Textile Group Limited (Hongkong), Amata Group (Thailand)
On the last days of August, Quang Ninh commenced the construction of 3 important projects, including Quang Ninh Geriatric Hospital, the first one of its kind in Vietnam, with total investment of 429 billion VND; Ha Long-Cam Pha Coastal Ring Road with a value of 1.3 trillion VND, FLC University with an investment of 3,8 trillion VND. Earlier, on April 3, Quang Ninh started construction of over 11 trillion-invested Van Don Mong Cai Highway. The province will soon hold a groundbreaking ceremony for Cua Luc Bay Tunnel with an estimated investment of over 9,7 trillion VND.
Following President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings, Quang Ninh has made a great stride in building a prosperous and beautiful province, making it an international trade gateway and an economic leading province in the North.
