To prevent the spread of COVID 19 epidemic, from Mar 9, Quang Ninh province has implemented health screenings and declaration of the whole population. According to the summary of the Quang Ninh Health Department, to date, 90% of the provincial population undertook health screenings and declaration.
Among of them, nearly 900 cases were detected with risk factors such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, people coming back from abroad or having a direct contact with foreigners, suspected or confirmed Covid-19 infection. Relevant authorities have promptly instructed these cases to take health check-up at medical units or isolate in compliance with special regulations. Health screenings and declaration for the whole population in the province is expected to be completed this week.
