Besides, dozens of logistics-related projects at industrial parks and economic zones have been granted investment registration certificates concerning warehouses and terminals, mainly at Mong Cai Border Gate and surrounding areas of Cai Lan Port.
Over the last 2 years, functional bodies and localities have been accompanying enterprises and enhancing cooperation with both domestic and international partners to expand logistics connection. According to Quang Ninh’s Department of Industry and Trade, total investment in logistics services in 2017-2018 stood at 128.2 trillion VND. In 2018 alone, the figure was 67.6 trillion VND, an increase of 11.6% over the previous year.
