Tourism in Quang Ninh will surely develop futher and should better meet demanding needs of tourists. Therefore, tourism sector and tourist accommodation pay attention to improving the quality of tourism labor force. It is considered as one of urgent tasks.
The project of training and improving the quality as well as developing human resources comprehensively in Quang Ninh to 2020 defines the importance of training and developing staff working in tourism and service areas. It particularly focuses on capacity building and training the management skills for officials and workers in tourism sector in line with both national and international standards, meeting the requirement of sustainable tourism development in the trend of international economic integration.
Every year, Quang Ninh’s tourism sector, Ha Long University, and Nguyen Van Cu Training School for Officials jointly organize training courses on tour guide, hospitality and hotel management, … Quang Ninh Tourism Department annually organizes 3-5 training courses on tourism issues with the participation of more than 300 attendants. In addition, tourist accommodations also pay attention to improving the quality of their human resources.
Furthermore, tourism sector authority continues to review the current state of tourism human resources in the province, then developing training and re-training plans for tourism workers while upgrading and completing facilities for tourism educational and training establishments.
