Post-storm cleanup campaign in Ha Long Bay

The Ha Long Bay Management Board in coordination with units, launched a three-day cleanup campaign for Ha Long Bay from October 1-15 in order to restore environmental sanitation to the heritage site to serve tourism right after Typhoon Yagi.

Due to the impact of Typhoon Yagi, the amount of garbage was accummulated in Ha Long Bay

Collecting big garbage
There are lots of foam beads from broken plastic oyster buoys.
Teachers and students of the College of Industry and Construction join hands to clean up the Tra Gioi beach.
Students, tourism businesses,officals together join the campaign.
After this campaign, the collection and treatment of garbage in Ha Long Bay will be carried out continuously and regularly.
