An overview of the meeting.

Under the proposal, the “socialist hospital” model will be comprehensively piloted at Vietnam–Sweden Uong Bi Hospital during the 2026–2030 period. The proposal to pilot the “socialist school” model covers two schools: Vu Van Hieu Primary, Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary School in Ha Tu Ward, to be established through the merger of Ha Tu Primary and Lower Secondary School and Vu Van Hieu Upper Secondary School; and the Educational Practice School of Ha Long University in Vang Danh Ward.

Regarding the proposal, Secretary of the Quang Ninh City Party Committee Quan Minh Cuong, tasked the city Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education to coordinate with the Party Committee of the city People’s Committee to further finalise the proposal for submission to the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh City Party Committee for consideration. For the “socialist school” model, he stressed that alongside the standard curricula prescribed by the education sector, greater attention should be paid to education on local traditions, as well as arts, physical education, sports and foreign languages. These efforts will contribute to developing a generation of students with well-rounded intellectual and physical development and a strong sense of revolutionary ideals. For the “socialist hospital” model, he emphasized that the focus should be on improving professional expertise and quality of healthcare services, while strengthening the hospital’s social responsibility.
