National Assembly wraps up Q&A session of fifth sitting
The 15th National Assembly concluded its Q&A session of the fifth sitting in Hanoi on June 8, after two and a half days.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said the Q&A session took place in a democratic and straightforward manner, attracting the interest of voters and people nationwide.
Together with four ministers providing main responses, Deputy PMs Tran Hong Ha and Tran Luu Quang and the Ministers of Finance, Planning and Investment, Agriculture and Rural Development explained issues related to labour, invalids and social affairs, science and technology, transport and ethnic affairs.
Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai offered further clarification on issues within the shared responsibility of the Government. He also directly -responded to questions raised by deputies in the Q&A session.
At the fifth session, 454 turns of deputies registered to raise questions, 112 exercised their right to ask questions, and 49 engaged in debates to further clarify issues of concern. This raised the total turns of deputies engaged in the Q&A sessions during the first two years of the 15th legislature to 861.
Hue also hailed Deputy PMs, ministers and heads of sectors for demonstrating a high sense of responsibility by engaging in the serious clarification of issues of lawmakers’ concern.
