Mountainous hamlet in summer
In the midst of vast forests and green hills of acacia and cinnamon, Song Mooc hamlet (Dong Van commune, Binh Lieu district) looks picturesque in the summer due to the bewitching beauty of plants, crops and landscapes as well as the cultural features of Dao ethnic minority people.
Visitors to Song Mooc can be immersed into the cool climate as Song Moc village is located in the middle of Phieng Che - Cao Ba Lanh high mountain system. They will feel really great walking along tree-lined roads or interspersed between cinnamon and acacia forests.
They will have a good chance to see the spectacular scenery of clouds swooping down the mountains, the top of hills or the top of cinnamon trees after early morning rains.
Along winding roads lie some ancient houses where Dao people with rich traditions have lived for generations. The green of paddy rice grown on the terraced field makes tourists think of it as a hand-made creation of uniqueness which cannot be found anywhere else.
