On Sep. 7, the Youth Union of Mong Cai city launched a campaign to collect waste at Tra Co beach. With the theme "Let's clean up the sea", the campaign is one of the actions to protect the environment, and response to the "Anti- plastic waste" movement.
On that day, more than 250 youth union members and border guards stationed in the locality collected nearly 3 tons of waste, and cleaned up the environment along the beach.
The campaign aims to effectively promote the role of youth union members, and border guard soldiers in the environmental protection and dealing with the environmental pollution through practical actions, such as cleaning up the coastline and stop using single-use plastic products, partly contributing to developing Quang Ninh into a green - clean - beautiful province.
