On Dec. 25, Quang Ninh’s vice chairwoman Vu Thi Thu Thuy presided over a meeting to review preparatory work for organizing the ceremony to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Ha Long Bay’s second time recognition as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site and announcing the merging Hoanh Bo district into Ha Long city and the arrangement of district-level and communal administrative units of Quang Ninh province.
The program is expected to include a ceremony and a festival with a special art performance highlighting the values of Ha Long Bay - twice recognized by UNESCO as a world natural heritage site and the future development of Quang Ninh province after merging Hoanh Bo district into Ha Long city and arranging communal administrative units ... A firework display will put an amazing end of the event. The program will take place at 8 PM on Jan. 12, 2020 at Sun Carnival Plaza Square, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City.
Quang Ninh’s vice chairwoman emphasized that this is a big and important event for the general development of Quang Ninh province. The program needs to be meaningful, solemn, thereby creating excitement for the people right from the first days of the new year.
