To enhance operational coordination and readiness to effectively handle complex security and public order situations, Quang Ninh City’s armed forces are conducting intensive live-action joint rehearsals, practising each tactical and technical scenario in preparation for the 2026 counter-terrorism and hostage rescue exercise.
The joint rehearsal takes place at the Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center. The exercise focuses on handling complex security situations, including protecting the security and safety of Party and State leaders, countering UAVs, responding to public disorder, apprehending terrorists and rescuing hostages.Command forces draw up plans to apprehend terrorists, rescue hostages and clear bombs and mines.A simulated scenario in which a group of people, incited and provoked by hostile individuals, cause public disorder.The city police mobilise forces to suppress violent offenders.Police dogs are also deployed to help suppress those causing public disorder.
The shield formation of the Mobile Police Force holds a firm defensive line against violent offenders attacking with various weapons.The Operations Command deploys a self-propelled robot capable of firing explosive rounds and a riot-control water cannon vehicle.Reconnaissance forces from the City Military Command and city police use anti-UAV guns to suppress drones operated by terrorists.The Mobile Police Force uses UAVs carrying explosive rounds to disperse the crowd and bring the riot to an end.A simulated scenario in which a terrorist group takes hostages.
