Hoanh Bo district on Jan. 21 held a ceremony to open the 2019 spring flower fair untitled “Hoanh Bo – vivid coloured flowers”.
In recent years, the spring flower fair has become an annual event of the district of Hoanh Bo on the occasion of lunar new year.
At the festival, there are around 30 stalls displaying flowers grown in some villages and agricultural cooperatives such as Dong Che in Troi town, Le Loi, Son Duong, Thong Nhat; and a variety of locally-made goods under “One Commune, One Product” (OCOP) programme.
In addition, a wide range of activitied are also held during the event, such as arts performances folk games and tours to Dong Che flower village and other attractions in surrouding areas.
As planned, the fair will wrap up on Jan. 25.
