Amid Covid 19-outbreak, tourist accommodations in Quang Ninh have conducted health declaration for tourists apart from being self-provided with medical equipment in line with provincial authority’s guidance.
At Royal Ha Long Hotel (Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City), there are always 2 staffs standing at the entrance to check tourists’ information, passports, and body temperatures. The hotel also provides them with instant hand sanitizer gel, face masks, and place banners and posters on Covid-19 disease at the entrance.
After checking in, tourists are instructed by receptionists to fill health declaration form which is issued by Quang Ninh Tourism Department in the most spoken languages. Tourists have to declare their personal information, dates of entry and exit, flight numbers, residence places for the last 14 days, health situation…
Wang Ling, a Chinese tourist, said that “We are impressed with the hotel staffs’ professional skills and thoughtfulness. Health declaration makes me feel safe. I totally agree with the way that Quang Ninh is doing to prevent and control the disease”.
Mithrin Hạ Long Hotel (Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City) also asks tourists to honestly make health declaration, apart from checking tourists’ body temperature and providing them hand washing gel. In addition, the hotel regularly sprays public areas with disinfectant to ensure a clean environment.
Currently, there are 325 tourist accommodations in Quang Ninh. Amid the complicated development of Covid-19 epidemic, Quang Ninh Tourism Department promulgates a document requiring these accommodations to self-equip with medics, making health declaration for tourists, and reporting to the department three times a day. Tourists can keep a copy to avoid re-declaration when visiting other tourist attractions.
