On August 27th, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee presided over a meeting regarding the proposal of organizing the World Circus Festival 2019 in Ha Long City.
At the meeting, representative of My Way Joint Stock Company and leaders from Vietnam Circus Federation presented their proposal. Accordingly, the festival will be organized around mid-November at Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center and October 30th Square with the theme “New chapter for a wonder”. The festival will be attended by more than 100 performers from 16 countries. On the sideline of the festival, there will be an exhibition on trade and tourism promotion, and a gastronomy festival.
Quang Ninh’s Chairman, Nguyen Van Thang, totally agreed with the proposal. He also emphasized that the festival would play an important role in lifting Ha Long’s tourism to a higher level in the future.
