Ha Long International Cruise Port – New tourist attraction

Ha Long International Cruise Port consists of a specialized marina for international cruiseships and an inland waterway wharf. The marina stretches 524m long. Its wharf, 130m in length and 31 in width, which can accommodate two225.000GT ships carrying 6,500 passengers at the same time, was put into operation in Novermber 2018. The inland waterway wharf, which opened in Apr 2019, is designed with four modern berths that can accommodate up to 300 tourist boats and b&b boats to Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay. The international marina and the inland waterway wharf share 3-storey terminal covering an area of 13,500 m2 and capable of accommodating up to 2,000 people. The terminal also consists of comfortable lounges, duty-free shops, supermarkets, restaurants and shops selling local specialties…

To lure more cruiselines to the Port at initial operation, the investor has implemented some preferential policies like free-of-charge docking at the inland waterway wharf, offering discounts for site rental fee at the terminal, completing roads which connect with Sun World Halong Complex, Sun Carnival Plaza, Sun Premier Village Ha Long Bay…

To date, the international marina has received 41 large cruise ships carrying 60,000 tourist visits while the inland waterway wharf has welcomed 70,000 tourist visits.
