Ha Long – Cam Pha coastal ring road to complete in Oct. 2020

On Oct.7th, Vice – Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Cao Tuong Huy inspected and worked with relevant departments, branches and localities regarding implementation progress of the coastal ring road project connecting Ha Long City and Cam Pha City.

Started construction in Aug. 22nd, 2019, the project is invested by the provincial budget with the total capital of over 1,300 bil.VND. The road is designed following standards with 4 lanes and a total length of 18.7 km. The road runs from Tran Quoc Nghien coastal ring road, Ha Long City to Km6 Port at Quang Hanh Ward, Cam Pha City.

According to the investor’s report, the contractors are mobilized all the available labor force and equipment to actively construct at clean premises. Specifically, 5 out of 41 road culverts are under construction, the foundation of 39,000 cubic meters on a length of 850 m is completed…The construction of culverts and road foundation are expected to be finished in late 2019 before implementing the next components. The Ha Long – Cam Pha coastal ring road is considered as an important project of the province, contributing to reducing traffic load on National Road No.18 and enhancing tourism connection between Ha Long City and Cam Pha City.
