At the lacquer painting exhibition by artist Hien Nguyen, a member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, the painting "Ha Long Bay in winter" was sold at a record price.
The exhibition themed “Breathing” by the artist Hien Nguyen took place at Eight Gallery in No.8, Phung Khac Khoan Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Some notable works were “Sunshine over the vast forest”, “Sunset”, “ A river”. All paintings showed the beautiful landscapes of the country. Many paintings were sold and prominent among them was the lacquer painting entitled “Ha Long Bay in winter” sold for 15,000 USD.
