The fourth International Ha Long Bay Heritage Marathon officially took place along the coast of Ha Long Bay, on Nov. 25.
It was jointly organised by the Quang Ninh Department of Culture and Sports, the Ha Long City People’s Committee, and Duc Huong Co. Ltd. This event is annually held on the last Saturday of November, along the stunning coastline of Ha Long Bay – a world heritage recognised by UNESCO
Almost 2,000 runners from over 60 countries compete in diverse running distance options of 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km. Coastline of Ha Long Bay was selected as one of the 50 best running courses around the globe by the Runner’s World UK magazine. The runners started from the Quang Ninh Expo center and then restarted their round from Tuan Chau ward.
After the competition, the Organization Board awarded the runners who won the running distances.
