Gifts presented to Truong Sa soldiers and people
The Navy Region 4’s working group headed to Truong Sa (Spratly) island district on December 21 from Cam Ranh city in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa.
The delegation included nearly 100 officers, soldiers, journalists nationwide. 2 journalists working at Quang Ninh’s Provincial Media Group had the honor of joining the working group.
As scheduled, the ships will dock at islands and islets in the district, delivering supplies and gifts to people and soldiers stationed there on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).
The gifts include essential goods and traditional food for Tet donated by organizations and businesses.
Reporters and journalists also plan to create video clips, take photos, write various articles about the life on such destinations on the occassion of the upcoming Tet.
All of the journalists and other delegation members appear to be eager to bring gifts and warm affection to the soldiers and people of Truong Sa island.
They are also ready to produce articles, photos and videos showing the astonishing landscape of Truong Sa and the daily activities of the soldiers who are protecting the country’s sovereignty over the sea and islands. They help raise awareness among all Vietnamese people, particularly the younger generation, of patriotism, national unity and a sense of responsibility.
