From Mar 16, following the Prime Minister’s direction, all Vietnamese citizens as well as foreigners in Vietnam have strictly implemented face mask wearing in public places.
Accordingly, face mask wearing is required in public places such as supermarkets, airports, bus stations and public transport etc.
The Ministry of Transport directed airlines to provide free face masks to the passengers who do not have. All passengers on domestic and international flights to and from Vietnam also have to wear face masks during their flights and their stay at airport terminals.
