In the area of Dam Buon port, Dam Ha district, 810,000 of aquatic breeds was released by the people’s Committee of Dam Ha on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam Fisheries industry.
This is a significant activity raising the people's awareness of aquatic resource protection. As a coastal locality, Dam Ha district determines aquaculture is one of its strengths for economic development.
In 2018, the total output of Dam Ha reached nearly 9,000 tons, and the revenue of over 508 billion VND, many households have escaped from poverty and become rich thanks to exploitation and cultivation of aquatic products.
