Cultural publication exhibition celebrates the 16th Quang Ninh provincial Party Congress

As part of a series of events to celebrate the 16th provincial Party Congress, the opening ceremony of an exhibition featuring books, newspapers, documents, archival photographs, and welcoming posters was jointly held this morning by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the provincial Newspaper, Radio & Television Station, and the Quang Ninh Journalists’ Association at the Quang Ninh Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace.

The exhibition is not only a cultural and political activity but also carries profound significance in political education and communication.

It aims to inspire pride, strengthen trust among Party members and the people of all ethnic groups in the province toward the Party’s leadership, and foster a vibrant spirit of emulation to welcome the 16th Quang Ninh provincial Party Congress, heading toward the 14th National Party Congress.

The exhibition space has been carefully and scientifically designed, showcasing thousands of books, newspapers, documents, archival photos, and artifacts. Its content highlights the development of the provincial Party through successive congresses, with meaningful themes such as “The Quang Ninh provincial Party Organization - From congress to congress,” “The glorious Party, Heroic Nation, Great Uncle Ho,” “Culture and People of Quang Ninh,” and “A creative space for literature and the arts.”

The displays also feature historical milestones and annual highlights of the province’s renewal and development journey,  President Ho Chi Minh’s bond with the Party, government, and people of Quang Ninh, and the cultural values, spirit, resilience, and aspirations of Quang Ninh’s people.

A special section presents the front covers of commemorative newspaper editions across the years, reflecting vivid moments of provincial Party congresses from the st to the 15th, along with outstanding publications and 50 posters celebrating the 16th Congress (2025-2030 term).

A highlight of the exhibition is the application of modern technology, including a virtual reality (VR) and AI-powered immersive space developed in collaboration with the Voice of Vietnam (VOV).

This brings visitors back in time to relive historic moments, such as joining the nation on Independence Day and hearing President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Following the success of the interactive experience “Return to the sacred moment” at the national exhibition “80 years of the journey to Independence - Freedom - Happiness” in Hanoi, Quang Ninh has become the first locality in the country to apply this cutting-edge technology to cultural exhibitions.

The provincial Newspaper and Radio & Television Station have also set up a virtual studio at the exhibition, offering visitors a modern media experience and an engaging connection between the press and the public.

The exhibition space provides an opportunity for citizens, especially the younger generation, to reflect on the province’s development journey, fostering greater appreciation and pride in the history and traditions of their homeland.

This, in turn, contributes to building a prosperous, civilized, modern, and happy Quang Ninh, and realizing the aspiration to become a centrally governed city before 2030, confidently advancing into a new era of national development.

The exhibition will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. until October 5, 2025, at the Quang Ninh Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace.
