Tripadvisor released the list as part of its annual Travelers' Choice Best of the Best Things to Do awards. Cruising in Ha Long Bay was listed among 25 world's most exciting experience.

Accordingly, a trip exploring Ha Long Bay offers tourists the chance to discover tranquil, less crowded destinations with crystal-clear waters, stunning rock formations, and smooth white sandy beaches.

Previously, Ha Long Bay was selected in the list of top 5 fastest growing destinations by the renowned travel site TripAdvisor. The website said that Ha Long Bay is stunningly beautiful. Being ranked third in the Best of the Best Destinations, its majestic nature is the key that has drawn over one million visitors since the beginning of 2024, with international tourists making up the majority of visitors.

The cool breeze from the sea, the unique cluster of thousands of islands and the numerous caves provide a refreshing escape from the summer heat and bring a fresh, relaxing experience for all visitors.

Located in the northeast of Vietnam, Ha Long Bay covers 1,550 square kilometers, with 1,969 islands. The UNESCO-recognized area is 434 square kilometers, forming a triangle with Dau Go Island to the west, Ba Ham Lake to the south, and Cong Tay Island to the east.

Ha Long Bay has received UNESCO accolades twice before. In 1994, it was designated a natural heritage site for its natural landscape, marking Vietnam's first recognition in this category. In 2020, it secured a second accolade for its geological and geomorphological value.
