Quang Ninh’s cultural and spiritual tourism is heavily impacted by Covid-19 epidemic. Amid the complicated development of the disease, departments, sectors, organizations and enterprises have joined hands to implement preventive measures in order to ensure visitors’ safety during their trips to relic sites and tourist attractions.
At Tran Dynasty Special National Relic in Dong Trieu, functional bodies have strengthened propaganda activities and required visitoss to obey regulations on disease prevention and control. Over the last days, Ngoa Van – Ho Thien Cable Car Joint-stock Company has provided visitors with more than 7,000 face masks, thousands of leaflets propagandizing the disease, and sprayed the relic with disinfectants. Cable car system has been given top priority in terms of hygiene work. All aims at making Ngoa Van as meaningful and safe spiritual venue amid the disease outbreak.
At Cua Ong Temple in Cam Pha City, the management board has enhanced propaganda activities via speakers. Environmental hygiene and food safety have also been ensured. The site management board also assigns a group on duty of offering hundreds of free face masks to those who forget to wear.
In Uong Bi City, the management board for Yen Tu Relic Site and National Forest focuses on propaganda works on Covid-19 prevention and control via banners and LED displays at public areas. Businesses at the site are also asked to sign commitment on implementing preventive measures against the disease and not taking the disease as an opportunity to make profits.
In general, functional bodies have tried their utmost to mobilize necessary human resources and medics in the fight against Covid-19. Joint efforts among functional bodies, units and enterprises have been made to ensure tourists’ health and safety though the disease continues witness complicated development. Jeremy Tim, a British tourist said “In the complicated context of the disease, we chose Quang Ninh as we know that you are doing a great job in preventing the disease. Preventive measures are applied at all relic sites and tourists attractions so we feel safe and sound”.
