To implement the Prime Minister’s guidelines on Covid-19 prevention and control while ensuring socio-economic stability, Quang Ninh’s authority requires departments, sectors, functional bodies, and localities to synchronously carry out measures to prevent the pandemic and support business and production.
In order to implement measures against Covid-19 pandemic, Mong Cai City and interdisciplinary functional bodies focuses on both vehicles and people at border gates and paths. They have to undertake 2-way disinfection (entry and exit). Warehouses and terminals are sprayed with disinfectant twice a day. 100% of workers wear protecting clothes. Doctors and nurses are on duty to check workers’ body temperatures twice a day. Everyone is trained on Covid-19 prevention and control.
According to Mong Cai Municipal People’s Committee, since customs clearance resumed, imports and exports via Bac Luan Bridge No2 and the path Km3+4 Hai Yen has bounced back. Since the beginning of Mar, the number of entry and exit vehicles has reached more than 200 a day. At Bac Luan Bridge No2, total import and export volume from Jan 1st to Mar 26th reached 129,953 tons. There were 1,735 vehicles transporting 26,277 tons of exported goods via the path Km3+4 Hai Yen. Imported goods through border gates in Mong Cai are mainly raw materials for export production (shoes, textiles, electronics). Export products are mainly Texhong Company’s textile products, dried jackfruit, dried mango, half-dried mango.
As of Mar 27th, at Texhong Group’s four companies operating in Hai Yen Industrial Park (Mong Cai City) and Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park (Hai Ha Distict), there are 172 Chinese specialists and managers. All of them went through 14-day quarantine as regulated. From early Feb to Mar 27th, Texhong Yinglong Technology Limited produced 22,800 tons of fiber and 14 containers from China went to the company to transport the fiber while Texhong Galaxy Technology Limited produced 20,600 tons and 7 containers from China transported the commodity…
