Discovering and conquering Cao Xiem Peak - Quang Ninh’s rooftop, is an exciting experience that tourists should try. It is also an ideal place, especially in autumn season. The peak is also a hiking destination within the scope of Binh Lieu Golden Season Festival to be held at the end of October.
Cao Xiem Peak in Luc Hon Commune is 1,429 m above sea level. It has untouched, imposing but romantic beauty. The peak is always a ideal attraction toh adventure lovers.
Once travelling to Binh Lieu District, tourists can catch the sight of Cao Xiem Peak wherever they are. For locals here, seeing the peak like seeing the homeland.
However, the journey to conquer Cao Xiem Peak is never easy. The 7 km long journey takes hikers from one hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, passing through paths along mountain side, a large space of bushy reeds, to reach the border landmark on the peak.
In order to reach Cam Xiem Peak, tourists can start from Cao Thang Hamlet (in Luc Hon Commune), Luc Ngu Hamlet (Huc Dong Commune), or Nga Meo Hamlet (in Luc Hon Commune). Hikers and tourists love going along paths under the locals’ guide to conquer the rooftop.
Hoang Van Manh, a tourist from Ha Noi, said “We feel tired at first. However, the more we go hiking, the more we find the beauty of the landscape. Cao Xiem is more attractive in our eyes. It is truly beautiful here, especially in autumn”.
Looking up, you can see clouds. Looking down, you can see valleys of primeval forest shaking in the wind. You can even hear the wind whistle. That are amazing feeling that no words can tell.
On the top of Cao Xiem Peak, you can see Hai Ha and Dam Ha Districts in the east, border mountains in the west, Binh Lieu Valley and lower mountains in Tien Yen District in the south, and spectacular Cao Ly Mountain in the north.
Autumn is a perfect time for travelling to Binh Lieu to conquer Cam Xiem Peak and enjoy special feeling.
