On May 8, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Co To District launched a voluntary blood donation campaign "Red Blood Drops" in 2019.
The launching ceremony attracted more than 300 volunteers who are officials, staff members working in the district’s Red Cross Society, youth union members, armed forces, students and local people in Co To. As reported, the district collected 250 units of blood, exceeding the assigned target of 180 units.
Voluntary blood donation is one of the humanity activities showing the noble gesture of the people in order to promote the spirit of mutual support and share pains with patients.
