A press delegation from China led by Mr. Xiang Zeying, Chairman of Chongqing Daily Newspaper, paid a working visit on Dec. 4 to Quang Ninh to explore the operation model of the Quang Ninh Media Group.
Receiving the delegation, Mr. Mai Vu Tuan, QMG’s Director Mai Vu Tuan stressed that QMG is a new press model which was first conducted in Quang Ninh, based on the merge of provincial press agencies.
After nearly one year of establishment, QMG has gradually gain initial positive results. The number of self-produced works in all 4 types of radio, television, printed and online newspapers increased by 30-40% compared to the past. The quality of the works has been improved to meet the needs of the public.
The Director of Quang Ninh Media Group Mai Vu Tuan also focused on the cooperation between QMG and China’s Guangxi Broadcasting Station in producing radio programs and Hoa Sen magazine with the main content related to the tourism development and promotion of the two provinces. He hoped that the partnership between QMG and other press agencies in China would be further boosted in multi-fields in the upcoming time.
