Quang Ninh People’s Committee has issued Decision No 2366/QĐ-UBND to recognize Cai Chien Tourist Area in Hai Ha District as a provincial tourist destination.
Cai Chien Tourist Area covers an area of 15,545 ha, including 2,556 ha of land area and 12.989 ha of water surface area. It is adjacent to Quang Phong, Quang Đien, Phu Hai, Hai Ha Communes, Hai Ha District to the north, Thanh Lan Island, Co To District to the south, Vinh Trung Commune, Mong Cai City to the east, Van Don District and Dam Ha District to the west.
The Quang Ninh Management Board of Provincial Relics assigns Hai Ha District People’s Committee to work with the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism to organize the meeting to announce the recognition and to help Cai Chien Island to promote its image, thus attracting more investment and visitors.
