When the autumn wind comes with cold weather, it is the time for buckwheat flowers and other kinds of flowers boom in Quang La Flower Paradise, Quang La Commune, Hoanh Bo District. A vast space of flowers covered with different colors has opened to visitors.
Among a vast space of blooming flowers, buckwheat flowers are so outstanding as they remind us of a beautiful flower season which is typical for the Northwest of Vietnam. Hoanh Bo is the first locality in Quang Ninh to succeed in growing buckwheat. This year, buckwheat flower garden in Quang La Flower Paradise covers an area of 1,500-2,000m2. The garden is divided into a number of areas with paths, facilitating tourists to up-closely admire the flowers and take photos.
Buckwheat flowers start blooming at early November and will be in full bloom at early December, the time for the most beautiful flowers. The petals will change from white to red and light pink. Thanks to favorable weather in Hoanh Bo, buckwheat is grown overlap to March and April next year, which is totally different from those planted at their hometown.
