In the 9 months of 2019, total import-export turnover via Bac Phong Sinh Border Gate reaches 70.6 million USD. Specifically, export turnover reaches 55.14 million USD while import turnover 15.46 million USD. This is a result of administrative reform conducted by Bac Phong Sinh Border Customs facilitating imports and exports activities at this border gate.
In order to create the most favorable conditions for importers and exporters, Bac Phong Sinh Border Customs has focused on reviewing legal documents concerning customs operations, making on-time proposals on removing unsuitable and unnecessary procedures. It also actively collaborates with relevant border agencies to regulate commodities and vehicles well to avoid congestion and ensure quick customs clearance.
Since the beginning of 2019, Bac Phong Sinh Border Customs has organized 3 meetings to consult enterprises. Through the meetings, enterprises were updated with new customs documents while functional authorities understand enterprises’ difficulties and timely solving newly-aroused problems.
Human resource is defined as the key to succeed administrative reform, Bac Phong Sinh Border Customs has paid concern to improving staffs’ competence and organizing regular training courses on customs.
Besides, information and technological advances have been applied. To date, 100% documents from Quang Ninh Provincial Customs to Bac Phong Sinh Border Customs and vice-verse have been treated with online or customs-specialized softwares, thus improving the efficiency and creating a scientific working environment.
Thanks to administrative reform and customs modernization as well as IT application, custom clearance for import-export commodities is performed quickly, saving time and costs for enterprises.
