The program is going to be launched at the Tuan Chau International Tourism & Recreation Complex.

As planned, the outdoor event will last for 70 minutes, featuring art performances and a fashion show of ‘ao dai’ (Vietnamese traditional costume) staged by local women.

The program is expected to create a vibrant atmosphere with a series of amusing art perforances, attracting a large number of locals and tourists.

The event will be held to celebrate the 58th founding anniversary of Quang Ninh province, the 10th anniversary of Ha Long Bay being recognized as one of the new 7 world natural wonders, and the 91st anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Women's Union.

It is also among various programs included in the province’s tourism stimulus program, and the communication campaign affirming that Ha Long is a "safe, friendly and attractive destination".

In 2011, Ha Long Bay, literally “descending dragon bay”, surpassed more than 400 destinations from over 200 countries and territories to be named as one of the New 7 World Natural Wonders by the organisation New Open World.

The bay was twice recognised  by the UNESCO as World Natural Heritage for its asthetic and geographical value. It has a 120-km coastline and is approximately 1,553 square kilometres in size, with 1969 islands and islets. The limestone in the bay has gone through 500 million years of formation in different conditions and environments.
