The VN 54 flight departing from UK and bring 93 Vietnamese citizens landed at Van Don International Airport on Apr 15.
The reception at Van Don International Airport complied with the closed process outside the terminal. Accordingly, a separate parking lot was reserved for the plane at the airport, ensuring that the arrivals of the flight would not affect the airport’s general operation and prevent cross-infection. Crew members, passengers and their luggages were supervised and quarantined in compliance with special regulations and then sent to the isolation areas, including three passengers at Van Don district’s Medical Center and 90 remaining passengers at Regiment 126, Hung Yen provincial Military Command.
According to statistics from Van Don International Airport, this is the 31st flight bringing Vietnamese citizens back home from disease-hit areas. Following the Prime Minister’ order, from Feb 10, 2020 until now, Van Don International Airport has received nearly 4,600 Vietnamese citizens back home.
