The world-renowned Ha Long Bay welcomed around 700,000 visitors in the first 3 months, with international tourists accounting for 90% of that number, according to the Ha Long Bay Management Board.

Tourism revenue from bay entrance fees reached nearly VND 240 billion, marking a 6% increase compared to the same period in 2024 and fulfilling 24.8% of the province’s annual target. The local government has placed strong emphasis on enhancing the overall visitor experience and expanding high-quality tourism products in a bid to attract more upscale travelers.

To gear up for the peak island tourism season, the Ha Long Bay Management Board is actively preparing to launch three new sightseeing routes starting May 1, 2025, in line with a resolution issued by the Provincial People's Council. This includes operational planning and the rollout of updated ticketing systems.

In addition, efforts are underway to revive and develop cultural tourism products centered around the Cua Van Floating Cultural Center and the Cua Van and Vung Vieng fishing villages, with surveys and project proposals already in progress.

Another major highlight in Ha Long’s 2025 tourism calendar is the upcoming event “Art for Climate - Ha Long Bay 2025”, which is expected to welcome over 200 European billionaires in June 2025. Preparations for the event are being actively coordinated to ensure a smooth and memorable experience for guests.

From emerald waters to majestic limestone islands, Ha Long Bay continues to captivate foreign visitors from around the world. Every journey through this UNESCO World Heritage site is an unforgettable adventure, offering breathtaking scenery, cultural experiences, and world-class hospitality in one of Vietnam’s most iconic destinations.
