On March 6th, a press conference was held in Ha Long city to announce the 2025 Miss Vietnam Global Sea Pageant. The contest aims to honor the beauty of Vietnamese women associated with the image of Vietnam's sea.
The competition has officially opened its registration portal on the Miss Vietnam Global Sea Pageant fanpage, accepting applications from January 25 to May 1, 2025. The Southern and Northern preliminary rounds will select 36 contestants for the final round, which will take place from May 23 to June 7, 2025 in Quang Ninh province.
The Miss Vietnam Global Sea Pageant is a new beauty contest that focuses on celebrating the beauty and talent of Vietnamese women, particularly those connected to the country’s rich maritime traditions. It also emphasizes the connection between Vietnamese women and the sea, representing the country's maritime culture, which has long been an important part of Vietnam’s history and economy.

The 2025 Miss Vietnam Global Sea Pageant is set to be held in Quang Ninh province, a stunning coastal region in northeastern Vietnam known for its natural beauty, especially Ha Long Bay, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The choice of Quang Ninh as the host location for the pageant is significant, as it highlights both the province's cultural importance and its potential in tourism and maritime development.
Quang Ninh is famous for its breathtaking coastal landscapes, majestic islands, and crystal-clear waters. Ha Long Bay, in particular, is a globally recognized destination and serves as a perfect backdrop for an event that celebrates the beauty of both nature and people.
In addition to Ha Long Bay, the province has other attractive coastal destinations like Bai Tu Long Bay, Co To Island, and Quan Lan Island, which are increasingly gaining popularity among tourists. These places offer opportunities for eco-tourism, marine exploration, and sustainable tourism development.
Quang Ninh's sea tourism potential is immense, with the government and businesses focusing on improving tourism infrastructure to make the region a key global destination for marine-based tourism.
