On August 16, Quang Ninh’s Department of Tourism held a meeting to carry out and reach agreement on the content of the 19th EATOF Standing Committee Meeting with the participation of relevant departments, branches, and localities.
To be well-prepared for the upcoming meeting, Quang Ninh’s Department of Tourism and relevant departments, branches, and localities have reached consensus on a number of issues, including decoration, advertisement, promotion, art performances, excursions/fieldtrips, security, traffic safety, food safety, etc…
East Asia Inter-regional Tourism Forum, an inter-regional tourism organization in South East Asia, was founded in 1999 in Gangwon, South Korea in order to pursue sustainable tourism cooperation and development among its members. Currently, EATOF has 10 member provinces, including Quang Ninh.
The 19th EATOF Standing Committee Meeting will take place from Aug 27-28 in Ha Long city.
